” Were promised a lot at the beginning of the year but expectations were far from met. Communications from teachers wasn’t as described and I felt flooded by messages on the app that didn’t have any substance as it was just them posting notes. Tests frequently didn’t match review materials given prior and my kid is leaving this school having hated the experience and now has an extreme dislike for school. There are also insane administrative fees upon enrolment that are clearly cash grabs. “
” Awful experience. They are located at the Christmas Market in Burlington I assume promoting their services. A co-worker and I went down with some individuals we support and one of them happened to need to use the washroom. He entered Blyth Academy and used their washroom however, unknowingly to us it was the staff bathroom. The lady at the front desk was very rude to us about it and unapologetic even after finding out he has a disability and we had apologized he entered the staff bathroom. She continued to glare at clients and I as we waited OUTSIDE the establishment knowing we weren’t welcome inside. Please educate your staff on diversity and inclusion Thanks. “
” WARNING TO ALL LOOKING AT BLYTH BURLINGTON: The students in this school are out of control. One grade 10 student was attacked resulting in a concussion. He was struck with a bowling ball on his head. The school claimed it was an accident. Another student was slapped and the school claimed it was an accident again. This campus is not being managed by the principal, the school board, or even Sam Blyth himself. The teachers are wonderful, but get payed a ridiculously low salary, likely because Sam Blyth wants the money for himself. The man doesn’t care about the kids or teachers, he’s just looking to make money. Me and many of my friends at this school are constantly being bullied and harassed. Many children don’t feel safe coming to school, and i’m one of them. This school made my life a living hell. Please don’t send your kids here, and save $13 000. “
